Alejandro Arias Betancur is the faithful example of the capacity and professionalism of the graduates of the María Cano University Foundation, he is an existential humanist psychologist with comprehensive skills in the entire construct of psychotherapeutic, psychosocial intervention and the promotion of mental health; obtaining academic background and consolidation in clinical and social psychology. The inquisitive attitude towards the dynamics and updates of the profession, have allowed him to develop resources in the inalienable attention of each psychotherapy; meeting their own needs and offering growth possibilities throughout the consultant’s holistic development.
In foreign languages, he has bilingual training in English with a B2 level in the four essential skills such as Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. In his new production «From the reverse of the lips» he interprets the reproduction of the sensations in love, it is directly proportional to the amount of ideals and projections that adhere to a memory. Now, the conjecture of ideas and experiences, make him believe more than in a simple volatile idea, a multivocal one, when on a white and deaf plain, he prints the loose and sometimes tight noisy letters.
Alejandro presents himself in the following way: «What he writes must remain written. As a sailboat is propelled by the sigh of the wind, so the letters and words that lie here will be carried away by every feeling evoked by the continuous reading of the I remember, I note. It is only unfailing that here, emotions are expressed and processed in unparalleled ways, situations and even experiences, reconstructing, understanding and adapting more the behavioral flow of who wants to be.
The reproduction of sensations in love is directly proportional to the amount of ideals and projections that adhere to a memory. Now, the conjecture of ideas and experiences, make me believe more than in a simple volatile idea, a multivocal one, when on a white and deaf plain, I print loose and sometimes tight noisy letters. It is this, the product of the ambivalence of joy and sadness, of euphoria and depression, of loving and hating.
Now, the stories turn and get a new meaning. And it is that I am not split, I am both and both represent me. Now is when the harmonious and placid of love begins to spread, to expand, to let go; without shame, without prejudice, amoral of all that it can give, offer, gift and even cover and give illusion once again to everything that the veil of hope protected.
This is me, and I am what my writing allows me to be. I reflect myself in my stories, and they, without any discrepancy, validate and testify my love for expressing, detailing, imagining and transmitting. Because inspiration comes from those sensations that break in and tear me. But it will not always be momentarily … sometimes that fervor to write and spread all that perceptual load takes as long as it has to take. So that, that is me, a good rapporteur. A storyteller who brings together what is born, dies and is remade. That’s what I do, go from a plane to
another, transforming events and leaving them at the disposal of uncertainty; having that conviction that they will continue their journey on the skin of the paper that, with fine black saliva, color and enjoy their creation. We are this. A method of transmutation, discharge, and quelling held feelings. Because from the foundation of imagining oneself loving, from the back of the lips, everything is known, but nothing is said. »
