Significant Experiences REDCUPS Valle

The María Cano University Foundation, through its headquarters in the city of Cali, participated in the 4th Meeting of Significant Experiences, organized by the Colombian Network of Higher Education Institutions and Health Promoting Institutions – Redcups – Node Valle, which had held on May 27 and 28 with themes as the central axis of health promotion and care. Experts and professionals of recognized trajectory, such as Adriana Millán, Ruby Elisabeth Castellanos, Martha Cuarán and Cosntanza Granados, discussed topics of interest and importance in accordance with the reality of the country and the world in the last year.
The conferences that were presented during the days of academic activity were: Health Promotion in Educational Environments with a Differential Approach, Ten-Year Public Health Plan and Ethnic-Cultural Development Guidelines for Colombia, Sex Sense: Sexuality, Gender and Sexual Rights Program and Reproductive, Community-Based Device-Zone of
University Guidance Zon @ cción Joven, Professionalization practices: A contribution to the Health Promoting University project, Living multiculturalism in Intenalco Higher Education, Social impact activities on prevention and promotion of mental health virtual modality IIP 2020 and Classroom Project » Cinema of … Mind ”.
In addition, talks were presented such as Health Promotion in the context of the Pandemic, the role of universities, Indigenous University Council as an inclusion experience in Private HEIs, Nursing Care in the Collective, a classroom experience in health promotion at the Santiago de Cali University, For a humanizing communication: The voice of the symbol, image, shape and color for a Healthy University, Barriers to physical activity in young university students, María Cano en Movimiento and María Cano Intercultural Program.
