A future of commitment

In an emotional ceremony filled with joy, hugs, and fulfilled dreams, hundreds of students received their university degrees in the city of Medellín, thus consolidating years of academic effort in the faculties of Health Sciences, Business Sciences, and Engineering, as well as in specialization programs.
The graduation event brought together family members and university officials who celebrated this important personal and professional achievement alongside the graduates. Among the degrees awarded were undergraduate programs in Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Business Administration, Public Accounting, Systems Engineering, as well as specializations in Early Childhood Care, Occupational Health and Safety Management, Sports Psychology, Health Services Management, Senior Management, Project Management and Evaluation, Tax Management, and Human Talent Management.
During her speech, the president of the assembly of members of the María Cano University Foundation highlighted the resilience and commitment of this cohort, marked by the challenges of an era of great technological, social, and economic transformations.
“Today we not only celebrate the completion of an academic cycle but the birth of ethical, critical professionals committed to the well-being of our society. You represent the hope of a country that needs talent, innovation, and human sensitivity,” she stated in her address.
The day was also marked by the words of the graduates themselves. Representing the students, they expressed gratitude to their teachers and families, encouraging their peers to “keep learning with humility, act responsibly, and never lose the passion to transform the world.”
With this new class of professionals, Medellín and the country receive a valuable contingent of young talent ready to contribute to the productive, social, and scientific sectors, in a national context that demands leadership, innovation, and ethical commitment.
The ceremonies concluded with a standing ovation as the new graduates tossed their caps into the air, a symbol of one cycle ending and another just beginning.
