A Graduate Making an Impact Through Physiotherapy and Sports
- 7 octubre, 2026
Sebastián Ramos Camacho, a graduate of the Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Cali campus, in 2022, has built a professional career in the field of physiotherapy and sports support. His professional practice has also grown through KineosPro, his personal brand, which began operating in Florencia on June 24, 2022, and later expanded to Pitalito, where it began activities on March 5, 2023.
His experience has extended to various settings related to physical conditioning, competition, and sports rehabilitation. In October 2024, he was in charge of the rehabilitation area at Fénix CrossFit in Pitalito, and in November of the same year, he assumed the same responsibility at Gorilla Games in Florencia, Caquetá. In August 2025, he joined Red Fit Centro de Acondicionamiento Físico in Pitalito as an ambassador physiotherapist, and in November of that year, he returned to Gorilla Games in Florencia, once again working as the physiotherapist in charge of the rehabilitation area. In December 2025, he also led this area at the first Carrera Laboyana, held in Pitalito.
Throughout 2026, his involvement in sports settings continued to expand. In August, he worked as a guest physiotherapist at the third edition of the Desafío event, held at Pueblito Huilense in Pitalito. Later, in October, he was in charge of the rehabilitation area at the first edition of Redfit Games The Lycan Hybrid, also held in Pitalito. His professional schedule also includes his participation as a guest physiotherapist at the Macizo Challenge in Pitalito in November 2026, as well as his work leading the rehabilitation area at Cross Master Putumayo, scheduled for the same month.
Sebastián’s career reflects the growing connection between physiotherapy and settings involving physical activity, competition, and sports conditioning. From the creation of KineosPro shortly after graduating to his participation in events held in Pitalito and Florencia, Caquetá, the physiotherapist has established different professional spaces to practice his profession and support rehabilitation and sports-related processes. His journey demonstrates how the knowledge acquired during his academic training can be applied to new professional settings and contribute to the development of physiotherapy in different communities.
