Rafael Antonio Díaz, a Physical Therapist graduate from the #Cali campus in 2023, distinguished himself through his active participation in the university community. As a student leader, he made outstanding contributions to the self-evaluation process and High-Quality Accreditation of the Physical Therapy program, leaving a positive mark on the institution.

In 2022, he completed a Diploma in Sports Activity and Physical Rehabilitation at the institution as part of his graduation requirements. His experience at Deportivo Cali as a prominent internship student, combined with his solid academic training, has allowed him to take on the leadership of the medical department at the Internacional F.C. youth academy in Palmira, where he applies his knowledge to optimize the performance and recovery of young athletes.

This year, Rafael began a Master’s in Public Health, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, he was elected as the alumni representative on the Academic Council, reflecting his leadership and desire to contribute to the growth of María Cano. These achievements are a testament to the strong foundation he received at María Cano University Foundation, where not only academic excellence is fostered, but also the development of well-rounded professionals.
