The María Cano University Foundation receives at the Medellín headquarters the representatives of the Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics of Poland, Dr. Piotr Borkowski, President of the university and Dr. Piotr Kazmierczak, Head of the International Office, who visit the headquarters #Medellín with the purpose of strengthening ties of academic and scientific cooperation between both our institutions and promoting cooperation projects that benefit university communities. The rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the vice-rectors, the deans, the directors of the different academic programs welcomed the visitors.

During the work to be carried out, ties of academic and scientific cooperation between both institutions will be strengthened in order to promote work and research projects that benefit students, professors, graduates and collaborators. The participation of academic and administrative leaders from Colombia and Poland will promote rapprochement with the cultural diversity of the countries through the recognition of cultural, material and symbolic riches, while opportunities for academic exchange can be identified to strengthen internationalization processes. . This new version of the relationship work confirms the María Cano University Foundation as an international and intercultural academic scenario that promotes the formation of a university community with glocal projection.

Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics is a unique higher education institution in Poland that focuses on practice and offers its students a solid education and a good start in their professional career, it has a wide variety of programs with a high level of teaching, excellent scientific and teaching staff, programs consistent with current labor market trends and an attractive scholarship system. Programs are offered at the Bachelor, Engineering and Master’s level. UTH teaches classes in the cities of Warsaw and Płońsk; which means that the institution appears in the registry of non-state higher education institutions in fifth place in performance in that country.
