COMPUTER MAINTENANCE CISCO IT ESSENTIALS (ITE)

This course covers the basic principles of computer hardware and software, as well as advanced concepts, such as security, networking and the responsibilities of the IT professional. Students who complete this course will be able to describe the internal components of a PC, assemble a computer system, install an operating system and solve problems through the use of system tools and diagnostic software. In addition, students will be able to connect to internet and share resources in a network environment.

The new themes included in this version involve mobile devices, such as tablet PCs and smartphones, and the client-side virtualization. Topics that were expanded include Microsoft Windows 10 operating system and issues of security, networking and problem solving.
