INTRODUCTION TO NETWORKS IT

This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components and models of the Internet and other computer networks. The principles and structure of the IP addressing, and the basic concepts, means of operation of Ethernet are foundations of this course. Upon completion, students will be able to build a simple LAN, making basic configurations in routers and switches, as well as implementing IP addressing schemes.

This course is directed to students looking for a basic job-position in the ICT industry or the ones who expect to meet the requirements to pursue more specialized ICT skills and knowledge. Version 5.1 with the additional materials for Version 6.0
