The Fundación Universitaria María Cano, based in Cali, has been recognized for its contribution to the development of higher education in Colombia, as reflected in its recent invitation to participate as a speaker at the 5th International Congress of Academic Bodies of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo in Mexico, held virtually.
