Thanks to the joint work between the Neiva headquarters and the Continuing Training area of ​​the María Cano University Foundation, a total of 20 students from the speech therapy program of the department of Huila, began an academic mission called: «A look at professional practice» With the objective of generating experiences of academic and intercultural cooperation, as well as learning intervention strategies and techniques used with the population with hearing and visual disabilities in our allied institutions, this mission is developed between the cities of Cali and Popayán as part of the comprehensive training process of María Cano.

The work agenda of the traveling community includes academic activities at the University of Cauca, a visit to the institute for the blind and deaf in Cali, a cultural tour of the city’s settings, as well as a visit by students to the Popayán headquarters with the purpose of encourage interaction and communication processes between teaching peers and students from the universities of Cauca and the María Cano University Foundation, Popayán and Neiva campuses, seeking to generate joint work spaces between the campuses.
