María Cano agreements that bear fruit in publications

For the María Cano University Foundation, the Business Administration program and the SUMAR group, it is a pride that the agreements with other institutions bear fruit. This is the case of the international agreement made in 2018 with the Technological Institute of Sonora – ITSON – Navojoa, Mexico, of which a research book chapter has just been approved with the title: «Factors that affect the student for the decision of the university academic continuity in the context of covid-19: case of the María Cano University Foundation. «This work was developed with the participation of binational researchers. On the side of María Cano, the authors are SUMAR professors, Humberto Serna Gómez and Ricardo León Sánchez Arenas, from the ITSON side, Dr. Jorge Guadalupe Mendoza This product will increase the cohesion and cooperation indicators before Colciencias.
The chapter will be published in print in March 2021, in this book, María Cano was classified as a model to follow for the identification of factors of student continuity in a pandemic context. The following results are also highlighted within the framework of this international agreement:
Organization of the international event «Management competencies of the future in the face of the pandemic and research trends in Latin America», which was organized by the SUMAR group, with speakers from María Cano, ITSON and the University of Sonora – UNISON -, Mexico, This event was attended by Colombian and Mexican students, professors and researchers.
Approval of the project at María Cano with the title “Institutional strategies for academic continuity in the context of Covid-19: case study at the María Cano University Foundation”, in which Ricardo León Sánchez Arenas and co-investigators participate as principal investigator Professors Humberto Serna Gómez from SUMAR, Jorge Guadalupe Mendoza from ITSON and Juan José García from UNISON. This project will also have the participation of undergraduate students from María Cano in the modality of research assistants and Master’s and undergraduate students from ITSON, where professors Humberto Serna and Ricardo Sánchez will be the directors of master’s theses, which will improve the international specialized human talent training indicators before Colciencias.
