In a joint work between the management and academic team of the Cali headquarters of the María Cano University Foundation, led by the coordinator Alba Liliana Garzón Calderón, and the collaborators Ingrid Franco, Tatiana López and Nelson Andrade, the projection project has been continued social in the public schools of the municipality of Jamundí. This project, which is part of the school emergency plan, seeks to provide support to educational institutions in the development and implementation of action plans to address risk situations.

The initiative has also opened the door to possible strategic alliances with the Jamundí Education Secretariat. At the recent meeting, the coordinator and her team presented the Institution’s portfolio of institutional services to engineer Alexander Mora, secretary of education of the municipality. The objective of this meeting was to explore the possibilities of collaboration between both entities for the development of joint projects in areas such as teacher training, educational research and social extension.

As a result of the possible alliances, important benefits would be generated for the educational community of the municipality, including the strengthening of educational quality, greater access to higher education, the development of research and innovation projects and the implementation of social extension programs. and second language.
