Through the signing of a framework cooperation agreement, the María Cano University Foundation and the Marco Fidel Suárez University Institution sealed a work commitment to benefit students, professors and researchers through actions in research, extension, teaching and services, applied to the development of its academic areas and research, determining the modalities of this integration. This work will allow both parties the mobility of students, professors and researchers, the exchange of publications, the carrying out of studies and research in areas of common interest, the joint development of academic extension and service programs, as well as joint publications and any other activity that both institutions consider important for the achievement of missionary functions.

The work was led by the rectors Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras and Gustavo Adolfo Moreno López, in order to disseminate cultural aspects and promote the creation of a new culture; promote respect for human rights, social progress, the environment and sustainable development; encourage critical thinking and entrepreneurial spirit; train human resources equipped with social awareness for the development of the countries that are part of the agreement.

It is important to keep in mind that the main commitment is to generate multiple benefits that facilitate and benefit academic training, while both parties by mutual agreement may, for the execution of specific agreements, establish financial resources or the participation of third parties to collaborate in the financing, execution, coordination, monitoring or evaluation of the programs and projects related to this work commitment, prior authorization from the corresponding authorities of each of the institutions.

Finally, the rectors and legal representatives were explicit in stating that the commitment is evident to establish actions that generate mutual benefit, strengthen ties of friendship and inter-institutional cooperation in order to have a general structure that strengthens and increases cultural agreements. and education among higher education centers that are focused on the training of professionals who contribute to the growth and development of the country.
