Always thinking about the welfare of the university community, María Cano, at its headquarters in the capital of Valle del Cauca, provided the theoretical-practical training in basic first aid to the team, where there was support of the ARL Sura. This meeting provided information and examples of how to deal with possible accidents that are registered in the Institution, so that you can always respond effectively to an emergency, such as: hemorrhages, immobilizations and transfers, airway management and generalities of basic vital support.

The training was led by the Paramedic, Jaime Andrés Hurtado, in coordination of the directors of the headquarters and evidences the responsibility of María Cano in the face of situations that may arise, it is permanent, while generating training, recreation spaces and strengthen for the members of the study center.
