- 12 mayo, 2021

Fourteen teachers from the different headquarters of the Institution were trained by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit in the María Cano Business Ideas methodology, which allows the development and presentation of entrepreneurial initiatives under the institution’s own model of creativity and innovation CrIN to generate precisely and concretely the previous analyzes (customer segmentation, value proposition, distribution channels, relationship with customers, key partners, key activities, resources, sources of income and cost structure) achieving the initial identification or validation of potential business ideas, in a practical way and applied to the business context.
The workshop was given by Jorge Armando García García, professor of the Business Administration program and postgraduate coordinator of the Faculty of Business Sciences, he himself is one of the first entrepreneurship managers of María Cano and who through E – Entrepreneurship Park of high impact articulated with the Secretariat of Economic Development of the Mayor’s Office of Medellín and the University of Antioquia, has received training to accompany entrepreneurs and their initiatives, the identification of OPN: Opportunity, Problem, Need, Identification of clients and users and the assessment of minimally functional prototypes.
The training of trainers strategy is promoted by the Academic Vice-Rector’s Office under the leadership of the Institution’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, with the aim of fulfilling what is stipulated in our University vision “to train entrepreneurial and innovative professionals”.
Professor Jorge Armando García García has a humanist training, with a great passion for Philosophy and History. Since 2019 he has been working at María Cano in the Business Administration program. I am currently the postgraduate coordinator of the Faculty of Business Sciences. He has been a University Professor since 2012 and has worked in the administrative life of the Universities, as director of University Welfare. Her last Master’s degree is on Human Management and Healthy Business Administration, with which she has learned to value the quality of life of co-workers and to support institutions in stability programs, career development and job satisfaction.
Since she joined María Cano, she has been very interested in the topic of Innovation and entrepreneurship. And that is why he has participated in diplomas and workshops that help me develop technical skills which I can put at the service of the institutional academy and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit.
