Research is progressing at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the María Cano University Foundation, which is why a campaign to collect medical images is started, including X-rays, tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in digital medium; This material will be implemented in teaching and research on the characterization of anatomical shapes, their variation and their functional alterations, in order to project physiotherapeutic interventions, characterize degenerative pictures and perform measurements on different three-dimensional segments of the anatomy human.

In addition, medical images will be used to test new methodologies for the analysis of human movement, within the research objects of the Fisioter group, which will guarantee an important contribution to the training process that is led from the classrooms to serve the community , with the preparation of professionals who are suitable and suitable in community health care in the different regions of Colombia.
