The Maria Cano Campus Cali held the Electro-EKG (Electrocardiogram) Workshop organized by AMIR Colombia and the Colombian Medical Federation, which included the presentation of Dr. Rawdy Reales Rois, a general practitioner specialized in internal medicine, also known for educating people related to the field of health and the general public through social networks. The workshop, free of charge, for the entire university community lasted 4 hours and was held in the “Aula Maxima Maria Cano”

The academic activity was attended by students of the Maria Cano physiotherapy program of all semesters in the capital of Valle del Cauca and also by students from different areas of health from other higher education institutions, such as the Icesi University, Libre University, Santiago de Cali University, who acquired knowledge on the interpretation of electrocardiographies, consisting of the graphic record of electrical activity generated in the heart.

These types of meetings demonstrate the commitment to the development of different types of learning to complement the learning work of students and the future service they will provide to patients.
