This Tuesday, February 21, the María Cano University Foundation began the Icontec national audit visit, led by the professional Ana María Suárez Molina, under the NTC ISO 9001, NTC 5555 and NTC 5580 standards; a job in which the Institution is committed to the different services and processes that contribute to the care provided to all internal and external actors involved in its actions. The work is led by the rector Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, the vice rectors Jorge Albeiro Herrera Builes and Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña, the planning director María Leidy Jiménez Sánchez, and the planning and quality specialists Juan Felipe Castaño Botero and Adriana María Mora Rivera.

During the audit, the following institutional processes will be analyzed: institutional management, physical infrastructure, human talent, teaching, research, institutional well-being, extension and social projection, graduates, internationalization, communications and marketing; as well as the Senior Management Specialization program and the Neiva de la María Cano headquarters.

During the visit, the commitments acquired in the previous hearings, the projected goals in the Comprehensive Action Plan, constant improvement actions, self-assessment, user service system, previous audit reports and effectiveness of the actions taken to face risks will be analyzed.

The María Cano University Foundation confirms, in this way, its constant commitment to quality in all the venues and subsystems that contribute to the fulfillment of the goals outlined in the 2017-2026 Development Plan.
