CONEXION with The University Board of Entrepreneurship

The University Board of Entrepreneurship (MEUNE by its acronym in Spanish) held the first Escenario de CONEXIÓN (Scene of CONNECTION) meeting, an exclusive academic training session for coordinators and teachers of entrepreneurship and innovation from the Higher Education Institutions that are members of the board. The day was developed during the following moments:
Moment 1: it was in charge of Oscar Hernandez Becerra – Head of the Prospective Creativity Laboratory of the host institution La Colegiatura de Colombia, who carried out a creative activation exercise that sought to answer the question: why is it when we grow apparently we lose our creative capacity? The answer lies in the brain’s energy consumption which is more than 20% of the daily total, which is what makes us forget that we are creative from out birth. We must remember this capacity through daily challenges that take us out of our routine and allow us to face projects in a different way.
Moment 2: it was in charge of Alejandro Mazo, Emprendimiento Empresarial Parque E, with the conference: Gaps in the transition of entrepreneurship from pre to incubation, addressing the problems of the city and region and the operation of business management support programs. He also presented the Parque E proposal with recruitment and selection srategy, characterization of enterprises and finally the analysis of gaps between pre and incubation.
Moment 3: it was presented by Juan Diego Gomez and Diego Alejandro Gomez from ESCALA who presented the Impact Indicators corresponding to Capital Semilla 2018-2019 contest, rescuing the percentage of entrepreneurs who start training in business models, the number of certified entrepreneurs, the number of entrepreneurs who presented themselves in the line of opportunity and in the line of innovation, the participation by gender in the contest, the performance of participation in sales per year and the indicator of participation of entrepreneurs per Higher Education Institution.
Moment 4: it was in charge of the leaders of each one of the Committees of MEUNE – Management Committee: Maritza Bibiana Tejos (CEIPA Business School), Academic Committee: Lauren Tamar (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) and Communications Committee: Sara Melguizo Tamayo (Maria Cano University Foundation), who made the presentation of each one of the projects and management to be carried out during this 2020.
The conference allowed to strengthen the fulfillment of the value proposal of MEUNE «connecting, articulating and aligning the different actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to generate knowledge and tools to enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs in Higher Education Institutions linked to MEUNE.
