Control, growth and development in children from 0 to 10 years in Neiva

In the sports center of the San Bernardo neighborhood, in the capital of Huila, the eighth-semester student interns of the María Cano University Foundation accompanied and worked with the health personnel of the ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina, in a health brigade that allows to watch over the well-being of minors with physiotherapeutic care for growth and development control, which reflects the institutional commitment to social projection and community care. The minors, always accompanied by a responsible adult, were cared for by the practitioners, under the supervision of teacher Sandra Vanegas Camacho.
It is important to highlight that the minors received care, according to their age, where those under one year of age received assessment of primitive reflexes, as well as control and development criteria, based on a physiotherapeutic care and support format. During the health day, care was provided to 23 children, with ages ranging from 0 to 10 years, all members of commune 10 of the City of Neiva.
In this way, María Cano continues to carry out social projection activities, with which it seeks to leave a mark for the benefit of the community, while ratifying the commitment of the members of the Institution with the well-being of the inhabitants of the different regions. of the country, in a manner consistent with the institutional principles of respect, equity, excellence, leadership, transparency and responsibility.
