In the city of Cali, the X International Symposium on University Entrepreneurship was held, the power of the 5+ regions of the REUNE University Entrepreneurship Network, which took place in the Uriel Estrada Calderón de Coomeva Auditorium; The activity was installed by the Secretary of Economic Development and Competitiveness of Cali, Pedro Andrés Bravo, a space to raise awareness of the challenges of entrepreneurship as a driver of transformation in the region, where students, as the leaders of the future, are fundamental in the process of transformation and potentiation of the ideas of innovation, change and transformation.

The María Cano University Foundation was attended by 28 students from the Physiotherapy program, accompanied by the head of the university entrepreneurship unit in the city of Cali, Leidy Tatiana Ordoñez, in order to encourage the creative spirit, learn about advances in the country in this area and generate a culture of innovation, new ideas, the generation of new business proposals and the growth of the economy.

This international university entrepreneurship symposium featured professionals from Mexico, Argentina and Colombia, who shared their entrepreneurial ideas, the work they have led and their expectations with these proposals in Valle del Cauca. These activities seek to encourage the strategy of promoting ideas from the María Cano entrepreneurship and innovation unit, strengthening soft skills for the positioning of proposals, projects, business ideas and entrepreneurship. The importance of strengthening the community, the generation and execution of initiatives that can be articulated as a network of university entrepreneurship, promoting and contributing to the economic development of this important region of Colombia is highlighted.
