The Fundación Universitaria María Cano was present in Montería through its faculty mobility program. Professor Wilson González led a specialized course on Soft Tissue Mobilization, held at the Centro Terapias Integrales S.A.S.
During this training session, participants had the opportunity to attend a theoretical-practical workshop covering key topics on the anatomy and biomechanics of fasciae, myofascial chains, and myofascial mobilization techniques. Throughout the course, there was a deep dive into case study analysis and the therapeutic applications of these techniques in different types of pathologies.
The main goal of this event was to integrate physical and occupational therapists through the use of soft tissue mobilization techniques, providing them with effective tools for the treatment of various conditions. This type of multidisciplinary collaboration strengthens the therapeutic approach and enables professionals to expand their knowledge and skills in improving patient health and well-being.
