- 17 octubre, 2024

With over 300 participants, the first International Meeting on Science, Technology, and Innovation has begun, focusing on topics related to the fourth industrial revolution and its implications for health sciences over the course of two days. This initiative, led by the Neiva campus, aims to address current issues and share information with students in the health sciences, who will be responsible for training in new technologies and applying them for the benefit of Colombian society.
The meeting will cover four thematic areas, exploring technology, sustainability, and the trends presented by this industrial revolution, particularly in terms of their applicability to health sciences in the prevention and treatment of pathologies and diseases. For this reason, María Cano provides spaces for training and dissemination of current topics that positively impact the education of highly qualified professionals, aware of how technology can serve each of the various disciplines represented at this international meeting. With the support of 12 national and international experts, participants will expand their knowledge and understanding.
