At the meeting held to exalt the work of the Colombian Association of Higher Education Institutions – ACIET – in the city of Barranquilla, for its 50 years of work and commitment to being a spokesperson before the State, the academic community and society in general to position and highlight the work of the different IES in the country, with a view to providing more coverage and access to academic training in the different regions of Colombia. The president of ACIET is Hugo Alberto Valencia Porras, rector of the María Cano University Foundation, who expressed the importance of assertive communication with the Ministry of National Education.

The Observatory of the Colombian University highlighted the request of the rectors of the IES of Colombia for greater flexibility and speed.
