A great contribution to health from the Fisioter group

Due to the Call No. 897 of Minciencias for the financing of CTeI projects in health that promote personalized medicine and translational research, the Fisioter group drew up the proposal “Incorporation of information technologies in the breast cancer monitoring model in women in Colombia, from diagnosis to rehabilitation, within the framework of Health 4.0 ”whose primary objective is the design of an information management system that allows monitoring of the conditions of women with breast cancer from diagnosis to rehabilitation within the framework of intelligent digital systems, data mining and ICT in health framed in the technical scientific model of personalized medicine.
This research seeks to positively influence the quality of life of women survivors of breast cancer, based on comprehensive rehabilitation strategies based on the concept of health 4.0 and taking into account the cancer issue as a national priority in public health in the regions. from Antioquia, Valle del Cauca, Cauca and Huila.
For the development of this project, we had the cooperation of the research group in biomechanics and rehabilitation engineering-GIBIR of the National University of Colombia.
