Professional profile

Graduates of the Health Administration program at Fundación Universitaria María Cano receive comprehensive education grounded in humanistic, scientific, and technological principles. They will be qualified to plan, organize, direct, and manage processes and resources within the healthcare sector while integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into diverse professional settings.

Graduates will also be prepared to promote comprehensive healthcare through territorial and differentiated approaches and to develop projects aimed at addressing the social, cultural, and economic factors that affect the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Graduates may hold executive and management positions in public and private healthcare organizations or related institutions, including roles such as:

• Administrator of public and private healthcare organizations.
• Healthcare market and industry trends researcher.
• Leader of talent attraction, development, retention, and employee engagement processes.
• Healthcare quality and healthcare services auditor.
• Administrator responsible for beneficiary services and healthcare provider relations.
• Data analyst for health risk assessment and the design of prevention and mitigation interventions.
• Project planning, structuring, implementation, and monitoring manager.
• Health insurance and coverage manager.
• Healthcare information systems administrator.

Admission Requirements Undergraduate Programs*

1. Complete the online application form.
2. Pay the current undergraduate application fee.
3. Upload the following documents in PDF format upon completing the online application:

• Copy of the high school diploma or graduation certificate. Applicants who have not yet completed Grade 11 must submit an original school enrollment certificate issued within the last month.
• ICFES Saber 11 examination results.
• Clear, enlarged copy of the applicant’s identification document.
• 3 × 4 cm photograph with a light blue background.

Physical documents will only be requested if required during the admission process.

4. Print the application payment form after completing the online application or make the payment through PSE.
5. Review the list of admitted applicants published on the institutional website.
