María Cano and the CES University host the National Congress of Physiotherapy

In its twenty-seventh version, the María Cano University Foundation had the honor of receiving physiotherapists from all over the country, virtually and in person for the National Congress of Physiotherapy, organized by ASCOFI – Colombian Association of Physiotherapy, COLFI – Colombian College of Physiotherapists, ACEFIT – Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Students, ASCOFAFI – Colombian Association of Physiotherapy Faculties, CES University and the María Cano University Foundation, with the support and commitment of the Greater Medellín Convention & Visitors Bureau.
In this version that was held on August 13, 14 and 15, the XXVII National Congress of Physiotherapy was constituted as a union space whose objective is to create dialogues and networks in which representative topics of the profession are addressed and delve into the understanding of innovation and its impact on training and professional practice in order to understand the different social dynamics that the country experiences and thus contribute to the solution of the different problems related to human body movement in the different regions of Colombia , through the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
The axes on which the academic activity focused were: Technology and innovation in clinical care – assistance in Physiotherapy, Mental health in technology and innovation, Physiotherapy and public health, Technology and innovation in physiotherapy training, Health and work, Activity physical, exercise and sport.
The National Congress of Physiotherapy had the participation of 346 professionals from all over the country.
