II International Congress on Labor Rehabilitation

Labor rehabilitation understood as the process that seeks to restore the person with disability as best as possible in its aspects and functions, physical, mental, professional and occupational (Ministry of Health, 2013) is today the order of the day in all organizations.
Workers with disabilities imply a challenge for their employers and contractors who must guarantee the right to ensure that the way to obtain their livelihood does not disappear by the mere fact of a change in their health conditions.
Unfortunately, some employers and contractors are unaware of the basic notions of labor rehabilitation and, therefore, relegate those with disabilities to stay at home or continue with jobs with low productivity or, in the worst cases, under dehumanizing conditions.
The second version of the International Congress on Labor Rehabilitation will be a space to recognize the most important notions in the area, so that participants can transfer and apply this knowledge in various work contexts, allowing people with disabilities to return to their jobs in a productive and dignified manner without being a burden to their employers and contractors.
