The María Cano Physiotherapy program at the Popayán headquarters supported the campaign developed by the municipality’s Ministry of Health called: «Collection of useless, Dengue prevention and tree planting» that took place in an area near the El Limonar neighborhood of the capital of the department of Cauca; through the proper handling of loads and the maintenance of healthy postures.
The campaign had the support of the Community Action Board and residents of the sector, as well as the Popayán Mayor’s Office, the Environmental Police, Serviaseo and, of course, the representatives of the María Cano University Foundation through professors Leila Rosmery Imbachi and Adriana Julieth Aranda.
For the Municipal Health Secretary, Oscar Ospina Quintero, the importance of these activities lies in showing the commitment to the different sectors of society, which now have more access to well-being and growth and training activities that are reflected in their constant growth.
