In the XXVII National Congress of Physiotherapy: «Social and Technological Innovation»
- 24 agosto, 2021

The professors of the Physiotherapy program of the Popayán campus and belonging to the Fisioter Research Group, María Fernanda Ortiz Cabrera and Elizabeth Roldán González, participated as speakers in the XXVII National Congress of Physiotherapy: «Social and Technological Innovation», held on the following days 13, 14 and 15 of 2021, with the conferences called «Social determinants in health related to early childhood development and growth of Pubus» and «Postural characteristics, lifestyles and perceptions of importance in Easter freighters» respectively.
These presentations are derived from research projects developed at the Popayán headquarters, from the Fisioter Group framed in the Health and Well-being research line, and that clearly present the program’s commitment to addressing sensitive problems in the Payanés and Caucano context, seeking to offer important information that supports the decision-making of territorial entities for the benefit of children, and the actors who contribute to keeping alive one of the most emblematic traditions of culture and religious tradition: the Holy Week processions of Popayán (recognized by UNESCO in 2009 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity).
Participations in this event, in addition to allowing the strengthening of the investigative culture among members of the academic community, allow evidence of public dissemination activities of science in which the teachers of the Fisioter Group participate in the Popayán campus and demonstrate the commitment to the guild and its scientific events nationwide.
