Innovation HUB Sena Medellín and María Cano managing capacities

The materialization of the Sena Innovation HUB in the creative orange district located in the Perpetuo Socorro neighborhood of the city of Medellín, today called the Creative District or Orange Development Area (ADN) of Colombia, is constituted as one of the main spaces for the generation and fostering entrepreneurship and innovation for the progress and renewal of the city. The HUB aims to impact the training processes of students, entrepreneurs, businessmen and the community in a scenario of continuous interaction where they can learn and apply agile methodologies for innovation with the latest generation technologies of industry 4.0, thus promoting knowledge under the approach of three types of technology for different sectors of the Colombian economy: (1) artificial intelligence, (2) internet de las codas and (3) machine learning.
The following three scenarios are found in the HUB facilities:
First floor: Corresponds to the welcome scenario to the facilities and in the same way, relationship activities, collaborative work or activities that are promoted or fostered around the approach of the three types of technology mentioned above are developed.
Second floor: Corresponds to the high-level training scenario under the Worldskills strategy: more quality, more productivity and skills.
Third floor: Corresponds to the space for guidance and support to entrepreneurs, businessmen and citizens in general to develop new products, new processes and new technologies through the ideation, prototyping or scaling of the technologies of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
This is how the HUB is considered a valuable contribution to the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region and the country, so that from the Faculty of Business Sciences and the Unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of María Cano the need and relevance of articulate procedures that allow the generation of productive chains to support and help transform entrepreneurs, their ventures and their companies based on the capacities that the HUB can contribute to the María Cano community based on the fulfillment of part of the institutional vision «to train entrepreneurial professionals innovative ”.
