Institutional Accreditation… Let’s go for more

Within the framework of the multi-campus institutional accreditation project, María Cano led the day of analysis and construction of the institutional weighting model, the diagnosis of internal regulations, the definition of impact indicators and reflection on the social projection, aspect foundation of institutional identity. The activity was attended by students, professors, directors and collaborators from the Medellín, Cali, Neiva, Popayán and the Mariacanovirtual campus.
The work was carried out with the accreditation advisor, Dr. Fernando Cantor, who is a Biologist from the National University of Colombia, a PhD in Entomology from the Federal University of Viçosa in Brazil and has advanced training studies in Innovation Policies, SPRU University of Sussex-England. He is a researcher recognized by Colciencias, in the Senior Category; Founder and current member of the Biological Control Research Group of the Nueva Granada Military University, classified by Colciencias in Category A; full-time professor at the Nueva Granada Military University in the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences; director of more than 40 undergraduate and graduate works; co-author of more than 60 scientific products including articles, books and book chapters, in both national and international publications.
For three days, the team of academic and administrative leaders of the María Cano University Foundation worked on different topics that allow organizing the work that will be led to achieve high-quality institutional accreditation, from the headquarters located in the different regions of the country.
