Interdisciplinary research work for higher education

The Maria Cano is proud to report the completion of the interdisciplinary research on Training Impact and Added Value that has been carried out for the Higher Education Institutions: Institucion Universitaria Colegio Mayor de Antioquia and Corporacion Universitaria Comfacauca. These researches were led by Professor-Researcher Ricardo Leon Sanchez Arenas, who belongs to SUMAR group, and who, based on his doctoral thesis, proposed the model for evaluating the impact on training for the country’s HEIs.
Researcher of SUMAR group, Ana Perez; researchers of Psiche y Sociedad group, Adriana Restrepo and Gabriel Saldarriaga; researchers of Fisioter Popayan group, Angelica Zuluaga, Elizabeth Roldan, Maria Fernanda Ortiz and Adriana Camayo; and designer Yirlena Sanchez also participated in these studies to demonstrate the capacity to unite efforts and skills to carry out activities of great impact to show how important academia is for the well-being of communities.
In addition to the interaction with the external sector, these researches have organizational innovation products and technical reports that will result in the categorization of researchers and groups, as well as cohesion indicators in the Colciencias model.
