Research incubators are characterized by being an important strategy for formative research, in order to achieve the development of competencies; as well as the relationship and articulated work with learning communities and knowledge networks that facilitate the delivery of knowledge at the service of the community in the different regions where the María Cano University Foundation is present.

The Neiva headquarters, from the Physiotherapy program, through the work carried out with the seed students Arianny Alejandra Mejía Rincón and Carlos Iván Arias Claro; achieved a meritorious endorsement and recognition, to represent Colombia at the Fair called: “Expo Esi Amlat 2024”, which will take place in Lima – Peru, from November 25 to 29, 2024 in person.

This excellent news is given thanks to the participation in the framework of the XXVI National Meeting and XX International Meeting of ENISI Research Seedbeds – RedCOLSI, held in the city of Cartagena, in the month of October 2023, with the project: “Bionic Orthosis for Functional Hand Rehabilitation in Patients with Spasticity Ashworth Scale 2”, attached to the María Cano University Foundation and which was under the advice of Professor Gladys Tamayo Perdomo, principal investigator; co-investigators Deisy Yulieth Silva Muñoz and Leonardo Fabio Medina Ortiz; in an exercise articulated with CORHUILA and SENA.
