International participation in Research Congress
- 5 diciembre, 2019

It was held in the city of Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico; the International Congress of the Journal Academy Research, in its 2019 edition. In this event a group of professors composed of academics from the Technological Institute of Sonora, Mexico (ITSON) and the PhD participated. Sandra Mónica Ramos Ospina, Director of the Center for Advanced and Continuing Education and a member of the FONOTEC Research Group representing the María Cano University Foundation.
It was based on the framework agreement between both institutions and at the express invitation of the Academic Body of the ITSON Degree in Education Sciences that the article entitled Strategies in the use of information technologies and satisfaction in basic education students was developed , as a product of a study that evaluates the use of technological strategies applied in the context of basic education, based on the degree of teacher knowledge and ability and the level of satisfaction perceived by the student, through the application of a questionnaire in situ that measures nine dimensions to characterize the strategies used by the teacher and a student satisfaction survey.
Sampling was taken for convenience, selecting fourth, fifth and sixth grade teachers. The results show that there is a gap between the strategies used by teachers in the urban area with respect to the rural one; the same happens with the degree of satisfaction that students perceive; Based on the above, it is suggested to design and implement a program to sensitize and train in didactic instrumental aspects so that the teacher uses the Information and Communication Technologies and, consequently, impact on student learning
The products obtained from this process were an article of scientific dissemination in electronic format E-book Online with ISSN 1946-5351, Volume 11, No. 9, 2019; and also a chapter of Digital Book with ISBN 978-1-939982-50-6, which can be consulted HERE.
