International relationship of María Cano

Within the framework of the academic mission to Turkey, which has the participation of different members of the university community, the director of Advanced and Continuous Training of María Cano, Sandra Mónica Ramos Ospina, participated in a space for interaction with the Embassy of Colombia in that country, in the city of Ankara, where Ambassador Julio Aníbal Riaño Velandia, received in his office representatives of the productive sector, representatives of higher education and representatives of the State through the mayor of the municipality of El Carmen de Viboral, John Fredy Quintero.
The purpose of the visit, in the country that extends from Eastern Europe to Western Asia, with cultural connections with the ancient Greek, Persian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires; is to seek alliances between sister cities, located in Colombia -Turkey, that favor the projection and positioning of virtual education, entrepreneurship initiatives and internationalization of products such as ceramics, among others, that allow to demonstrate the synergy University, Company and State as an engine development of the country.
In this way, the objectives established in the proposal of the work presented by the Office of the Vice President for Extension and Social Projection are met, with the generation of academic, cultural, business, state and governmental interactions to strengthen the competencies of the participants. La María Cano advances with its training proposals with a glocal approach, looking at the advances of the world to focus them on the needs of the local environment.
