At the Popayán headquarters of the María Cano University Foundation, the sixth semester students of the Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy programs began their training practice, opening such an important process, with the celebration of the start-up ceremony. In this space, it was possible to make visible the commitment they acquire with the communities, society, the practice settings and the Institution. The group of students assumes this challenge in their training process with responsibility and leadership, given the new and different situations that they will face through practice, it will allow them to contribute to the social development of the region and the Colombian southwest.

It is important to highlight the message delivered by the headquarters coordinator, Angélica María Zuluaga Calle, and the teachers, to work tirelessly for the well-being of all the patients they will have and their families, while being asked to share their knowledge, not only from the professional part in health, but from the human approach, listening to people and thinking about the humanization of the service at all times.

The María Cano University Foundation warmly welcomes this group of young people to the new stage of their training that brings them closer to the great dream of being excellent professionals.
