The event and convention center of the capital of Antioquia, Plaza Mayor, was the setting for the graduation ceremonies led by the María Cano University Foundation, where 220 graduates received their undergraduate degrees from the Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, and Administration programs. of Companies, Public Accounting, Software Engineering and Systems Engineering. In addition, 68 new specialists from the programs in Audiology, Occupational Health Management, Comprehensive Early Childhood Care, Health Services Administration, Senior Management, Relationship Marketing Management, and Project Management and Evaluation were delivered to society.
The María Cano University Foundation carried out the graduation ceremony taking into account that undergraduate and graduate students who met the academic requirements and authorized to opt for the professional title must participate in a solemn act, in recognition of their personal effort and commitment to training. . The activities were carried out in compliance with the measures of the National and Local Government, especially the Ministries of Education, Health and Social Protection to contribute to the progressive reactivation of economic, social and State activities under the new panorama of the pandemic. All the necessary and exceptional actions were taken and the best strategies were implemented to retake the presence in the graduation ceremonies.
In the same way, to ensure that the ceremony continues to be a moment of exaltation, the required physical distancing and compliance with the biosafety protocol was guaranteed all the time, as well as the other guidelines that are necessary to impart for the protection and good management of the realization of the event.
