For the María Cano University Foundation, it is a great reason for joy to show that the graduates fulfill their dreams, goals and personal objectives; This is the case of the physiotherapist Julia Andrea Arias Díaz, a graduate of the year 2008 at the Cali headquarters, who briefly shares how her professional career has been, at the service of the community and as an example of the work of the Institution’s professionals who they leave the profession and the name of María Cano high at the national level.

«In 2014 I finished a master’s degree in Health Services Management at the Free University and I am currently finishing a doctorate in Educational Sciences at the University of Cuauhtémoc in Mexico… Since 2015, I began teaching at the University Foundation María Cano in the city of Cali, beginning a path full of pleasant experiences, this allowed me to seek to expand my knowledge in teaching, opening an opportunity to practice this beautiful profession outside the country, where I practiced for a while. Teaching, serving as a practical teacher in the field of mental health and research teacher, in the city of Pereira, at the Andean Area University Foundation, belonging to the ZIPATEFI research group of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

I have made presentations at a national and international level with topics related to the profession, mainly mental health and education, as well as some publications of articles such as: Research notebook: Andean seedbeds No. 12 (2019) – Articles, Changes in patient functionality critical care and quality of life after intensive care (ICU), Pereira 2019. At the María Cano University Foundation we continue to work with dedication and effort, vigorously charting the path of success for all future professionals».

In this way, it can be seen how the work of the professionals graduated from María Cano, at a national level, directly and indirectly impacts the training of new leaders who contribute to the growth, development, progress and strengthening of the country, in this case from higher education and research.
