Viviana Caicedo Delgado, a professor of Physiotherapy at the Neiva campus of Fundación Universitaria María Cano, has been selected as a juror for the Mujer Virtud Neivana 2025 event, organized by the Neiva City Hall through the Secretariat for Women, Children, and Social Development.

With over 10 years of leadership in community actions across various neighborhoods of the city, Professor Caicedo Delgado has actively worked with Fundación Universitaria María Cano, promoting initiatives that foster peace, equity, human rights defense, and the promotion of healthy habits and lifestyles. These efforts have benefited diverse communities, including children, adolescents, elderly people, and individuals with disabilities.

Her work reflects the institution’s commitment to training well-rounded professionals dedicated to serving society by promoting self-care and physical and mental well-being through community practices.

In this edition of the Mujer Virtud Neivana event, 22 women were nominated, all deserving of the award, which aims to strengthen the institutional policy of the Neiva City Hall and recognize the valuable contribution of women to the city’s development. This event seeks to highlight and acknowledge the effort and leadership of women in the social transformation of Neiva society.
