The Colombia Physiotherapy and Sport Group, an interest group of the Colombian Physiotherapy Association (ASCOFI), led at the national level by Professor Sebastián Grajales Toro from the Medellin physiotherapy program, has achieved its link to the International Federation of Sport Physiotherapy ( IFSPT). This federation is the subgroup of interest of the World Physiotherapy (WP) for the area of ​​sport, the latter being the world body that regulates the practice of physiotherapy.

This achievement has a direct impact on the visibility of physiotherapy in Colombia, especially in the sports field, and highlights the important work and contribution of the María Cano University Foundation to the development of the profession in different areas, particularly sports.

On September 21, the teacher will attend the IFSPT World Assembly as a representative of Colombia, where he will actively participate in decisions that will affect the future of sports physiotherapy this year.
