«The most valuable thing is not what we have, but who we have» was the motto of the fourth semester students of the Speech Therapy program at the Neiva campus, who from community practice were present in commune 3 of the José Eustasio Rivera neighborhood of the capital of Huila, carrying out a series of activities according to the language components in order to stimulate the linguistic skills, literacy processes and cognition of the older adult community.
These spaces allow us to highlight the great work of social projection that the María Cano University Foundation carries out with the community and its commitment to students by providing them with quality education, allowing young people in their training process to put their knowledge at the service of the community. above all to generate well-being and health care for all citizens. The activity was led by the professor of the speech therapy program, Jessica Ramírez González, directing the students during the activity.
