The Public Accounting program at the Medellín campus participated in the 4th Tax Knowledge Olympiad, held at Luis Amigó University. The event brought together outstanding students from 14 universities in Antioquia and three universities representing national regional networks, who put their skills, technical expertise, and tax knowledge to the test before a panel of judges and strategic partners from the sector.

At the event, our student Luisa María Múnera López advanced to the final round alongside students from Politécnico Grancolombiano and Universidad Mariana de Nariño. Although Universidad Mariana ultimately won the final round, our student stood out for her knowledge, analytical skills, and critical thinking.

In addition to Luisa, María Cano was represented by a delegation of six competing students, nine students attending the event, Professor Luis Enrique López Córdoba, and the program director, María Cristina Osorio Soto.

Participation in the event was an opportunity to showcase the quality of the accounting professionals being trained at María Cano, while also strengthening relationships and connections with other higher education institutions and strategic partners.
