Fundación Universitaria María Cano, through its Faculty of Engineering, has welcomed the first cohort of two new academic programs that strengthen its educational portfolio in areas that are increasingly relevant in today’s digital world: the Specialization in Digital Transformation and the Technical Program as an Assistant in Data Analysis and Management.

These new programs respond to the rapid technological changes shaping the global economy and the growing demand for professionals capable of leading innovation, organizational modernization, and the strategic implementation of digital technologies across different sectors.

The Specialization in Digital Transformation is designed to prepare professionals to understand the dynamics of the digital economy and lead processes related to the digitalization of services and business operations. In a highly competitive global environment, investments in information and communication technologies have become a key factor for organizational sustainability and long-term growth.

Meanwhile, the Technical Program as an Assistant in Data Analysis and Management focuses on developing practical competencies in data collection, processing, analysis, and management. Through this program, students gain the skills needed to provide technical and operational support in database development, information management, and data-driven analysis, in accordance with industry methodologies and technological tools.

The launch of this first cohort represents an important milestone in María Cano’s commitment to strengthening education in emerging technologies, data analytics, and digital transformation, preparing professionals who are ready to address the evolving challenges of organizations and contribute to innovation and development in the digital era.
