María Cano: Innovation through virtual reality
- 1 septiembre, 2025

Students from María Cano experience Virtual Reality to foster creativity and innovation. With the goal of stimulating creativity and innovation within the academic community, students from the María Cano Educational Institution participated in an immersive session using Virtual Reality goggles. This activity allowed the young participants to explore virtual scenarios that challenged the limits of reality, encouraging their imagination and ability to generate new ideas.
The experience was led by Psychology professors Natalia Gómez and Jaime Alberto Cuervo, in collaboration with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Coordinator. The students were able to see firsthand how technology can be a key tool to inspire creative and disruptive solutions that integrate with their professions, complement their training, and open the path to curiosity and interest in exploring these technologies, which are highly relevant today and will increasingly be present in the daily lives of societies globally.
From the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, they invite the entire academic community to join these spaces designed to enhance the talent and skills necessary for the future.
