Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Cali campus, continues to strengthen its commitment to educational transformation in the Valle del Cauca region. This time, the campus director, Liliana Garzón, held an important meeting with Dr. Gabriel Enrique Ferrer Orozco, Secretary of Information and Communications Technologies of Valle del Cauca, and Sandra Patricia Valencia Zuluaga, National Vice President of the Colombian Association of Higher Education Institutions (ACIET). The purpose of the meeting was to explore the university’s participation in the Campus Digital Educativo del Valle del Cauca, an ambitious program aimed at increasing access to higher education in the region.

The Campus Digital Educativo is an initiative led by the Valle del Cauca Government, designed to close the human capital gap through scholarship opportunities. This program allows students to pursue higher education through virtual and hybrid modes, making it easier for young people across the region to access quality education, regardless of their geographic location.

The program integrates the academic offerings of various educational institutions, ensuring that students in Valle del Cauca have a broad range of options. From technical programs to technological and professional degrees, Campus Digital provides a wide variety of fields of study, enabling more people to access quality, flexible, and distance learning education.
