In the General Assembly of Associates of the Network of Continuing Education in Latin America and Europe – RECLA, held in the city of Sao Paulo – Brazil; María Cano University Foundation was chosen to be part as a member of the Executive Committee of the Network for the next three years. Such network is an important space for the unitversity to international relations strengthening, allowing us to be continuously compared with the best continental practices carried out in continuous training and teaching extension services. In order to access this Committee, María Cano was put to a vote where the University of La Sabana and the Universidad del Norte also participated.

This Executive Committee 2019 – 2021, will be composed in the Presidency by the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the Vice Presidency by the University of Vic (Central University of Catañuña) of Spain and in the General Secretariat by the Universidad El Bosque de Colombia. María Cano will be part of the Vocalías, sharing a table with five other important universities in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the United States and Ecuador. The institutional representation will be in charge of the Deputy Rector for Extension and Social Projection, Carlos Julio Escobar Noreña.

The Executive Committee of RECLA represents the interests of the Network and of 110 universities associated with it.
