With more than 1,600 events and visitors from 50 countries, the International Book Fair of Bogotá – Filbo 2022 ended. Within the framework of this important event with culture, literature and education, the Third National Meeting of Style Correctors was held in in which María del Carmen Ossa Romero, style editor of Mariacanovirtual, participated, while Dubys Mary Ramírez Jiménez, pedagogical coordinator of Mariacanovirtual, participated in the Copyright Seminar, the strategic ally of digital content creators, organized by the National Copyright Directorate and the Colombian Book Chamber.

The day of «Correctors who communicate and communicate» allowed reflection and dialogue to answer the question: Is interaction with others involved in editorial management a determining factor in the correction process? The meeting, through several presentations and two workshops, had the following purposes: to talk about the difficulties that arise in the work flow of a proofreader, to clarify the limits of authors, editors, proofreaders, layout designers, designers in the processes of creating a text and to have criteria when an inclusive language should be used or not, among other interesting topics.

The Copyright meeting, the strategic ally of digital content creators, through several presentations, had as its purpose: to talk about the creative industry as sources of business, the monetization of content in the digital world, copyright contracts , technology and NTF in copyright, among other interesting topics.

Through this experience and other training and updating spaces, at Mariacanovirtual we continue to qualify ourselves to improve processes and transfer knowledge to the academic community through training and digital resources.
