It is with great pride that the entire community of Fundación Universitaria María Cano, Popayán campus, congratulates and recognizes Mayerly Sinisterra Sinisterra, a student in the Physiotherapy program, for her outstanding performance at the Elite National Boxing Championship, recently held. In this important event, Mayerly earned the bronze medal in the 60 kg category, bringing honor to the Cauca Boxing League and reaffirming her commitment to sporting excellence.

The Elite National Boxing Championship is one of the most important events on the national sports calendar, bringing together the top boxers from across the country and serving as a platform for international competition. In this edition, Mayerly once again showcased her talent, technique, and determination in the ring, facing high-level opponents and achieving a result that positions her as one of the leading female boxers in southwestern Colombia.
