Medellín hosts the 1st Maria Cano business show

The María Cano University Foundation within its Institutional Educational Project and its 2017-2026 Development Plan, called “Building Future” promotes entrepreneurship and innovation as an attitude of its academic community, a capacity for its organizational culture and a characteristic within the local, regional and national business environment that can be articulated and potentialized in international environments.
In this way and with the aim of continuing to strengthen and promote entrepreneurial Culture (Law 1014 – Entrepreneurship in Colombia), it is proposed to carry out the María Cano Entrepreneurship and Innovation Business Show. An event that aims to foster the relationship and generation of business knowledge of the academic community around innovation and entrepreneurship through collaborative spaces that allow visibility and maximization of business initiatives, companies, their products or services.
This event will take place on a single day on Tuesday, October 8 between 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. under the following 3 scenarios:
1. Academic moment: Corresponds to the space in which a presentation by an external expert to the institution will be carried out in a specific and practical way according to themes of innovation and entrepreneurship under pitch methodology.
2. Business moment: Corresponds to the commercial space where entrepreneurs and business owners will present their products and services or make visible their business initiatives or companies.
3. Cultural moment: Corresponds to the space in which entrepreneurs or business owners will make their artistic and cultural presentation throughout the day of the exhibition.
